At 2:30 pm on May 12th ,2010, the administrative vice minister and secretary-general of China Medical Rescue Association, professor Li Zonghao gave a lecture titled  Modern Medical Rescue in Disasters in the library lecture hall. The lecture was hosted by vice-president, professor Liu Chunping.
        Professor Li used vivid language, detailed characters and plenty of pictures to introduce the stricken situations and rescuing process in various natural and social disasters from 4 aspects including natural disasters, accidents, public health events and social safety events. Meanwhile he stressed that whichever above event should happen, people would always pay attention to the casualty, so medication took an important part in disasters rescue, and the target of rescue is to “Save lives and treat the injured”.
        At last, professor Li specially explained the practice of disaster rescue in two aspects, from the formation and the principle of disaster medical rescue in detail: the rescue work of China national medical rescue team in Haiti 7.3 Ms earthquake, in the serious water leaking accident in Wangjialing, Shanxi province and in the 7.1 Ms earthquake in Yushu ,Qinghai Province. 
        Students and teachers listened carefully, his brief analysis and explanation, profound academic skills and charming manner won the  appreciation of all teachers and students.
