New Off-campus Practice and Employment Base Established in School of Geological Engineering

On the morning of November 7, 2018, Li Juwen, dean of the School of Geological Engineering, Li Ping, assistant dean, Wu Peng, director of the Innovation And Entrepreneurship Office of the Academic Affairs Office, Li Xiaobo and Zhang Yudong, director of the Urban Underground Space Teaching and Research Office, and Zhang Yudong visited Beijing Ruiyi Xiangtong Property Management Co., Ltd. , and awarded the "off campus practice and employment base" for urban underground space specialty.

During the investigation, Li Juwen introduced the specialty setting, construction of teaching staff, teaching and scientific research, production practice, etc. The two sides exchanged views on the market demand for talents, internship employment and cultivation of innovative practical students, and reached a consensus on the number of students, professional direction, practice time, practice content, living conditions and other related issues in the practice base. The two sides said that they should explore the cooperation mode between schools and enterprises in order to provide a new platform and opportunity for the cultivation of practical talents.

Li Juwen and his party also went to the third inspection team affiliated to the unit to visit our students majoring in urban underground space engineering.
