Delegation led by Professor Wu Lizhi from Armed Police Academy Visiting IDP

On the morning of May 8, 2018, Professor Wu Lizhi, director of the Fire Command Department of the Armed Police College, and a delegation of five people visited IDP. Chen Guang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, warmly received Director Wu Lizhi and his party. Jiang Jiyi, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office of IDP, and the person in charge of the Department of Economic Management attended the meeting, which was presided over by Prof. Liu Cuixia, deputy director of the Department of Economic Management.

At the meeting, Wu Lizhi introduced the basic situation of the Fire Command Department of the Armed Police College, saying that as a distinctive industry school, the two sides have the same business development needs and strong complementarity of disciplines. He hopes that both sides will carry out in-depth exchanges and cooperation on the construction of emergency management discipline, specialty construction and practical teaching organization, so as to promote common development. Chen Guang introduced the history, mission, construction and development situation and development strategy of IDP. He hoped that the two sides would strengthen cooperation and exchange in personnel training, scientific research and social service, jointly improve the quality of personnel training, scientific research level and social service ability, and jointly serve the national emergency management cause. Jiang Jiyi and Tang Yandong, deputy director of the Department of Economic Management, respectively introduced the discipline construction, laboratory construction achievements and personnel training of emergency management specialty. The two sides also conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on issues of common concern and interest.

Wu Lizhi and his party also visited the earthquake emergency disposal laboratory, emergency equipment laboratory, earthquake simulation laboratory and disaster simulation laboratory.
