Professor Li Zhong Presenting at the International Conference on Image and Signal Processing and BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (CISP & BMEI)

Recently, the International Conference on Image and Signal Processing and Biomedical Engineering and Informatics (CISP & BMEI) was held in Beijing University of Technology. Professor Li Zhong of Emergency Management College of IDP was invited to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, Professor Li Zhong made a report entitled "Study on Association Rules between Earthquake and Precursory Information Anomalies", which introduced the association rules between ground electromagnetic field, groundwater temperature and water level changes, ground deformation and other factors within 200 km of the epicenter 30 days before the Wenchuan Earthquake.

During the meeting, participants presented and exchanged the latest research achievements in signal processing, biomedical engineering, image processing and artificial intelligence in the form of conference reports, branch reports and posters. Heated discussions on some common topics of interest were held as well.

Jointly hosted by Beijing University of Chemical Technology and East China Normal University, the conference is a series of annual international conferences sponsored by the International Association of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). It provides a platform for technical dialogue and sharing for experts in the fields of image and signal processing, biomedicine and informatics at home and abroad.
