IDP Becoming Member Unit of AEEE-AIC

On June 23, 2018, the first meeting of Aeee-Aic was held in Hefei. Feng Jilin, director of Disaster Information Engineering Department, Hong Li, director of Disaster Prevention Instrument Department, Tang Yandong, deputy director of Economic Management Department, and Cai Jianxian, deputy director of Disaster Prevention Instrument Department, were invited to attend the meeting.

AEEE-AIC is led by the University of Science and Technology of China and Baidu company, Zhejiang University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and IDP. At present, there are 41 member units.

The first meeting of AEEE-AIC focused on the formulation of the organizational structure of the working committee, deliberated on the constitution of the working committee, and elected the chairman, secretary general and 10 standing members of the working committee. Prof. Hong Li of IDP was elected as the standing member of the working committee. During the meeting, four academicians and several experts and professors exchanged views on the construction of artificial intelligence curriculum system and deep learning design with the theme of "artificial intelligence collaborative education".

The AEEE-AIC aims to build a school enterprise cooperation and innovative talent cultivation ecology, build curriculum resources characterized by industry university cooperation, and promote the construction of new engineering majors. With "AI technology open platform" as the core resource, AEEE-AIC aims to build an innovative talent cultivation ecology for college students. The establishment of AEEE-AIC will promote the high integration of universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions, effectively connect the resources of all parties involved in personnel training, and support the overall layout of artificial intelligence industry.
