Liu Yu, Engineer from General Survey Team of North China Geological Survey Bureau, Giving Academic Report at IDP

On June 4, 2018, at the invitation of the Department of Earthquake Science of IDP, Liu Yu, engineer of the General Survey Team of North China Geological Survey Bureau, came to our institute to give an academic report entitled "the Application of Strater4 in Drawing Borehole Histogram". The teachers and students of geology major from the Department of Earthquake Science attended the meeting.

Mr. Liu Yu's lecture includes the establishment of strater4 database, the drawing of lithologic histogram, stack logging curve, combined borehole histogram, and the use of field teaching software. Teachers and students had a positive exchange and discussion with Liu Yu. Through this report, all the teachers and students who attended the meeting mastered the relevant operations of plotting lithologic histogram and superimposed logging curve with strater4 software, and said they benefit from Liu Yu’s report.
