IDP Passing Mid-term Inspection of Project on Active Fault Detection and Seismic Risk Assessment in Sanhe City

From April 12 to 13, 2018, the China Seismological Bureau organized a meeting on the inspection of urban active fault detection projects. Li Yishi, deputy director of the Department of Earthquake Disaster Prevention, attended and delivered a speech. Hebei Seismological Bureau, Langfang Seismological Bureau, and responsible persons of Sanhe Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban Rural Development and project team members attended the meeting.

Research fellow Shen Jun, chief technical director of the project, reported in detail the progress of active fault detection and seismic risk assessment in Sanhe City. Leaders and experts at the meeting fully affirmed the achievements and work quality of the project, discussed geophysical data interpretation and seismic model of Sanhe Pinggu area, and put forward valuable suggestions for the next step of the project.
