IDP Participating in Site Disaster Assessment of Songyuan Earthquake on January 4, 2018

According to the official determination of China Seismic Network, at 20:21 on January 4, 2018, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 occurred in Qianguoerluosi County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, with a focal depth of 8 km. The epicenter was located at 45.29 ° N and 124.65 ° E.

The Songyuan earthquake disaster prediction project team, which was participating in the seminar on the application of the results of the earthquake disaster prediction project in Songyuan City, entered the earthquake emergency state immediately after the earthquake, and participated in the earthquake site disaster assessment. The earthquake disaster prediction system developed by IDP has been tested in actual combat and played an important role in providing the basis for emergency decision-making of the government.
